How to make partition of local drive

• Right-click on "This pc"
• Select manage.
• Computer Management will pop up, select Disk Management from the left column.
• Your local drive will appear, Right-click on the drive which you want to make partition of.
• Select "shrink volume"
• Enter the amount of space required in "MB"     (1gb=1024mb)
• An unallocated drive will be made, Right-click on the unallocated drive and select "New simple volume".
• Click next
• Select the amount of space, next
• Assign the letter to drive, next
• Rename drive-in "Volume label", next
• Finish
