How to make partition of local drive
- Right-click on "This pc"
- Select manage.
- Computer Management will pop up, select Disk Management from the left column.
- Your local drive will appear, Right-click on the drive which you want to make partition of.
- Select "shrink volume"
- Enter the amount of space required in "MB" (1gb=1024mb)
- An unallocated drive will be made, Right-click on the unallocated drive and select "New simple volume".
- Click next
- Select the amount of space, next
- Assign the letter to drive, next
- Rename drive-in "Volume label", next
- Finish
